A multifaceted artist and activist, Sarain Fox is working to amplify the narratives of Indigenous peoples — as told in their own voices.
Storytelling is as much a part of Sarain Fox as it is of her Anishinaabe background. Coming from a long line of storytellers and knowledge keepers, Sarain has taken telling stories beyond the oral tradition. She weaves narratives through dance, choreography, writing, content creation, fashion, and filmmaking. Having hosted her own TED Talk, been featured in publications such as Vogue magazine and on billboards, and partnered with brands such as Nike, Sarain’s combined various mediums to build one powerful platform. It is a platform unified under one goal: celebrating the knowledge, voices, and talents of Indigenous people.
